Social Garden Group

Enjoy our community garden! Our Social Garden Group welcomes everyone - whether you are starting out and looking to discover your green thumb, or a keen gardener, and even those who just enjoy being in the garden. This is the group for you.

With a focus on bringing people together to share, our Social Garden Group welcomes anyone with an interest in gardening, flowers, harvesting, cooking, and more. You may wish to potter around, grab a cuppa, help out with planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, share knowledge, share cuttings, or learn from others, chat, draw, take photos, come along and meet your neighbours.

A HUGE thank you to Bunnings who very generously donated their time, plants and other materials to our community garden earlier this year.

We now have passionfruit vines, an olive tree, lots of veges and herbs, and flowers in bloom, worms for our worm farm. We also have the beginnings of a citrus hedge.

The group currently meets on Tuesday mornings, but you are welcome to come along and visit the garden at your leisure.

When the weather prevents the group from being outdoors, come inside for a chat and cuppa, plan activities, swap cuttings and so much more.
