Clota Cottage offers classes and activities for you to develop skills, knowledge, improve health and wellbeing, and connect with others. We offer activities in English and Chinese language. Many of our classes are funded and offered at discounted concession rates.

Classes FAQs
Classes: We offer term classes in digital skills, computers, office administration, English language, life skills and more.
CALD learners: We aim to deliver programs that are culturally and linguistically inclusive. Programs delivered in Chinese language are facilitated by bilingual instructors.
Benefits: Small classes, passionate tutors, goal-focused, relaxing environment, flexible and tailored. Classes are designed to increase employability, study skills, literacy, numeracy and develop confidence. Short courses between 20-30 hours per term.
Affordability: Most of our skills development classes are funded by state government so you can access the training required to improve employability and develop core skills. All classes are low-cost, some are FREE. Annual fee-cap for those attending multiple classes in the same calendar year.

Who should attend: Our classes are suitable for anyone over 18 years of age wanting to learn core skills in a friendly, small, supportive environment.
Enrolment: For most activities you can enrol online via this website. Alternatively you can come into Clota Cottage and enrol. Enrolments can be made over the phone as well.
Customised classes: Course content developed to suit the needs of your clients, staff or community group. Service Providers looking for a group program should call our Manager or Programs Coordinator.
Learn Local: Clota Cottage is a pre-accredited training provider. This means we provide the skills you need for work, study and life. Completing a Learn Local course can provide you with the skills required to go onto further accredited training via TAFE and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
