Cooking
Do you have a favourite dish to share with the community? We are always looking for people to come into our kitchen for a cook-up with one of your favourite recipes. Whether it be a kitchen staple, soup, salad, pasta, or duck l’orange, let’s chat.
These are fun, social sessions and perfect for the foodie in you.

Community Kitchen-hand
Join our small team of helpers on Community Lunch days. Come along and get involved. You might set the table, prepare veges, or meet and greet, or something else. Lunches will be held monthly. Schedule to suit your availability.

Create, Craft, Design
Calling out for those with a creative flair. There are a number of opportunities for you to get involved. Perhaps facilitate a social craft group? Or you could get involved in designing and creating some fun projects.

Garden Guest Presenter
Would you like to share your knowledge of gardening? Consider coming along to talk about a topic close to your heart, whether that be growing, propagating, pest control - you name it. Join a

Housekeeping
Are you practical and handy? Would you like to assist with keeping our Neighbourhood House in tip-top shape?
We have a terrific opportunity for you to get involved. 2-6 hours a week, possibly more if you require depending on your skills to get involved in other tasks. Ability and confidence to use basic tools essential.

Marketing and Content
Do you enjoy crafting creative content and engaging with community? We have an opportunity for someone to assist with socials content, story writing, and contributing to our profile and brand.
Suitable for some work from home, or from our Neighbourhood House. Estimated 4-6 hours a month.

Activity Facilitator
Do you have time to demonstrate one of your favourite activities?
We would love to talk to you if you would like too facilitate just one workshop or a series of activities. The choice is yours - do you bake, sew, paint, recycle, woodwork, craft, mosaic, etc? Whatever your skill and passion, would you like to share with our community?

Governance and Strategy
As a Committee Member you will contribute to our thriving community centre and make a difference to the lives of others. Participation requires about 3-4 hours a month.
Ideally you will bring some understanding of any of the following gained through either work or study: governance, community development, community services, adult education, HR, IT, facility management, marketing.

Volunteer Driver
Assist community members get to and from local activities. Petrol allowance is provided.

Volunteer Digital Literacy Mentor
Help older adults learn more about technology and become confident using their digital devices, phones, i-pads or laptops. Weekly or fortnightly volunteer schedules available with sessions of either 1 or 2 hours. Training provided.
Be Connected is a government program designed to empower older Australians and enable them to thrive in today’s digital world.

Clota Cottage welcomes volunteers across all our programs, as well as behind the scenes in administration or on our Governance Committee. Complete our Volunteer Application Form if you are interested in volunteering with us.
Your volunteer schedule can be set to suit your availability, but some time within our business hours is usually required.
Clota Cottage is registered with Centrelink to support volunteers with activity hours requirements.
